Mantlepiece Clocks

I bought the following three mantlepiece clocks for £10 at the Addington car boot sale. The clocks all had their movements removed and were bundled in a cardboard box - a bit of a sorry sight.

I believe this clock is an Enfield. Unfortunately the face is quite scratched and the glass front is missing. I've done a sacrilegious deed and placed a quartz movement into the clock case - I'm not going to get the original mechanical clock movement working any-time soon since there are parts missing. At least this way the clock can tell the time while waiting for it's repair. The clock will do well as 'shabby chic' ;)

This is a German made mantle piece clock. Like the other two clocks it's case and face is quite scratched. The glass front was missing but luckily I had a spare. Again I've committed the crime of putting a quartz movement into the clock while it waits for it's repair.

Another German made clock. This clock is in the best condition of the three clocks and still has the original glass cover.

Group photo - These are the clock movements that were in the cardboard box. I somehow got four movements for three clocks!
