Metamec and Hanson Clocks

I bought the following Metamec and Hanson clocks last weekend at a car boot fair:

  • Metamec electric wall clock (top left)
    • Movement: Synchronous (type 2)
    • Model: 4640 (similar to 615 but with a plastic dial)
    • Diameter: 204mm
    • Cost: 50p
    • Description: Brass colour. Not sure if it works or not
    • Production: September 1979

  • Metamec carriage clock (top)
    • Movement: quartz (second type movement)
    • Model: not sure but similar to 4584
    • Width: 85mm
    • Height: 112mm
    • Cost: 50p
    • Description: White plastic case with solid brass handle
    • Production: June 1985 to 1990

  • Metamec battery clock(right)
    • Movement: Battery (electro magnetic), not sure if it's original
    • Model: 5823 - automatic
    • width: 260mm
    • Height: 140mm
    • Cost: £1
    • Description: Wood case with sweeping seconds hand
    • Production: 1963 to May 1974

  • Hanson battery wall clock (bottom)
    • Movement: Battery (electro magnetic), stamped 'Hanson made in France'
    • Diameter: 230mm
    • Cost: 50p
    • Description: Cream coloured wall clock with 'Hanson, Made in the Republic of Ireland'
