Royal Tunbridge Wells Millenium Clock

The Royal Tunbridge Wells Millenium Clock is five meters high and is made of steel. It is located in the town centre in an area called five ways.

The clock was designed by local sculptor Jon Mills. He has designed a number of other steel clocks including a clock in Selsdon, Croydon.

Location: Five Ways, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The clock looks a bit like a giant spider!

The clock has four faces, but the left one in this photo isn't working.

Royal Tunbridge Wells is more commly known as Tunbridge Wells. It is in Kent and about 30 miles from London. Tunbridge Wells should not be confused with Tonbridge which is another town close by. My next stop in the day will be Tonbridge, so more photos to follow.

I posted a photo of Jon Mill's Selson clock last year. Here is the link: www.masterclock.co.uk/2009/01/selsdon-clock.html
