Smiths Mystery Clock

Smiths Mystery Clock
Mystery Clock

This clock was made by Smiths English Clocks Ltd, c 1935. It is located in the London Science Museum (in the Time Measurement gallery).

The mystery of the clock is that it appears to have no mechanism to move the clocks hands. The clock movement is in the base of the clock and glass plates are used to move the clock hands.

Interesting, Alan... I find clocks very interesting also. I truly would love to have an old Tall Clock sometime before I die...
